Asbestos if you mean the real stuff is almost not used in anything automotive or otherwise long ago. There are other "organic" things that work. Heat shielding, insulation, brake and friction items. It's (being sarcastic to a point) or anything that really worked and lasted has been banned from use or sale greatly if sold to the US or Canada.
