No start after timing belt Sign In

2001 Kia Sportage 2.0L
Miles: 258k

So the problem I have with this is I replaced the timing belt and the engine will start and run until I put the fan and fan shroud back on. I have taken it back apart and put everything on 1 by 1 to ensure that is when it stops starting. Could it be the belt that goes from the alternator to the crank pulley and the fan pulley? Any help is greatly appreciated. I have posted a video of the engine starting prior to me putting everything back on.

There is absolutely no connection there unless you are just pushing or pulling on vital wires.

Strange.

I would see what your are losing when it doesn't start. spark? fuel? Injector pulse?

Is it setting any codes?

Does the fan have to be on to kill it or does just putting the assembly back on make it not start?
