Lets start off with " If its not broke dont fix it" Have a 06 Chevy Malibu. Has 76000 miles. Ran perfect. Got the bright idea to change the spark plugs and wires. Bad idea. I replaced plugs with Bosch Platinum and wires autolite I believe. Started car after finished installing both, started right up. Was driving for a test drive when I stopped at a red light. The car started idling low around 500 rpm. Also felt shaking under the hood. Little later in the day check engine light came on. Went to Advance Auto code came up P0300 (Random Cyclinder Missfire). Checked plugs and wires no change. Put orginal spark plugs back in, no change. Bought air intake spray, sprayed in air intake, opened up butter fly choke and cleaned that as well. No change. Check engine light will go off by it self, taking a day to turn off but always comes back on. Remote starter won't work if check engine light is on. With the heat on the idling is almost near normal also limits the shake to nothing. Being that the car ran perfect before I started messing with it and I bought it from a dealer like 6 months ago what could be the problem? Again the car ran perfect before.

Replace those with AC Delco right away and don't ever buy them again. You should have bought Delco on the wires too but they aren't as much of a problem as those plugs.

Double check your firing order on the plug wires

I don't know what "choke" you cleaned but this car is fuel injected and doesn't have one. Since you didn't give us an engine size, I can't tell you the correct order.
