Need some help. I have a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 z71 4wd wnd I believe a 350 with about 281,000 miles on it. I've had some trouble with my acceleration and towing recently. Just wondering some possibilities. Already checked fuel pump/filter. It bogs down when I accelerate/let off but usually only when it warms up. Everything seems normal besides the lack of bottom end power. If anyone could offer some advice that'd be awesome!

With that many miles have you done a compression test? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

? High miles - also check exhaust restriction. Some OK when cold lose it when warmed up or hot. IDK working it hard now think things will begin happening despite a well known tough engine there's lots more, T

1993 350 / 5.7L.... Can you confirm - TBI or CPI? This was a around time chevy was switching from TBI to CPI the so called spider fuel injection... My reference shows both this year... and troubleshooting would be different.

I'm only showing TBI on the 5.7 in that year.
