Problem starting Sign In

I have a 1998 Chevy S-10 4.3 4X4 Pickup with 190,000 miles on it. When the motor is cold it takes 8 or 10 trys to get it to start. After it is once started and warm it starts and runs fine. Do you have any idea what might be causing this problem.

When it's cold, try turning the key from the off to on position (without cranking) about 4 or 5 times, leaving it in the on position for about 2 to 3 seconds each time & see what that does for the extended cranking problem....

Key off engine running??? Nick....are we hazing the new posters again?????? Tongue
