Here’s a partial-wiring diagram showing the fuel pump circuit, according to the diagram, the relay is under the hood near the heater blower motor. Terminal A of the relay, dark green/white wire, should have battery voltage on it during initial ignition on for 2 to 3 seconds (Prime Cycle) and then again during cranking. (ECM control circuit.) Terminal C, black wire is relay ground. Terminal B, Gray wire (there should be two) One is battery voltage feed from the engines oil pressure switch, the other gray is battery voltage feed to the fuel pump. They use the oil pressure switch as a back-up means of turning on the fuel pump if the relay fails. In other words if the fuel pump relay fails (Everything else ok) and you were to crank the engine long enough to build oil pressure, the contacts in the pressure switch would close allowing battery voltage to be supplied to the fuel pump. Terminal C4, red wire is the fuel pump test terminal. If all is well in the system and you applied battery positive voltage to this wire the fuel pump should run. Terminal D. orange wire should have battery voltage on it at all times, this same orange wire also feeds the oil pressure switch, and the ECM. This circuit is protected by a 15 amp fuse, found in the under dash fuse panel labeled ECM/BATT Let us know what you find and I hope I didn’t loose you in my explanation of the wiring circuit. Dan.
