I have a 16 reg Citroen C4 flair 1.6 hdi blue SS the stop start hasn’t kicked in for 8/9 months but eco light flashes on dash to indicate system is working dealer tells me it’s because my battery is below 70% anyone help me on this ? It’s not a high mileage car I’ve only done 9000miles in it, also it has 7” sat nav screen, if the dealers right I’ve no problem just want to know please.

We don't have that vehicle here in the US so we don't have any specifics on that car.

If you only have 9K on a nearly 3 year old car, then that car has spent a lot of time sitting still and that kills batteries so they may be right.

If there is any question at all, it should be replaced.

Re: Stop / Start system Sign In

Same just add if you expect to drive or use anything with a battery that little you need a plan. You can, this should be garaged and the item called a "battery maintainer" some add the work "charger" but should be totally automatic to come on and shut totally off when done.
Look at a door jam common place for the month/year car was built if battery is original it's older than that or say so on it or in code ask for it's build date.
They can just fail anyway or lose it the car is drawing some current and the don't like being low rather near 100% all the time. A fix for this or not just know that and would get one of those IDK where for you not that costly here about $30US for a weatherproof one,
