1995 Toyota 4-Runner 4-cylinder. Won't stay running when I let go of the key. Just stopped one day. Replaced the ignition, but it didn't solve the problem. Could I be looking at having to replace the fuel pump? Or could it be electrical? I'm stranded at the moment. No vehicle, no job, and very little money. Help!!!

For now need to know if you replaced ignition switch or the key part - two different things. Try but don't waste your starter motor over it to prime intake with starting fluid but put the snorkel parts back on. If it will run longer with a try that would be good info. Others are watching too and I'm thinking of reasons. By your description it runs but it's behaving like you purposely shut it down letting go of start position of the key - right? T
