The steering on my astra has lost it's power and the e.c.u warning light shows up on the panel.could it be a major problem or easy and cheap to fix.anyone?

Start by checking the fluid level. Fill it if low but there's a problem. Usually a hose, best NOT to drive it buzzing away too long or you will end up needing a pump! Just my guess,
