car hesitates while driving

I have a 1991 Buick Regal, engine is a 3.8 (3800 tuned port injection) the car is hesitating a bit while driving. Was wondering what to check...would adding injector cleaner be a good start?

Is the check engine light coming on at all?
Have you checked thoroughly for vacuum leaks?
Although it will set a code that you will have to clear, try unplugging the MAF and see if it runs any better.
