driveway project?

  post locked   driveway project?  
Is there a major difference in dropping a fwd engine as opposed to pulling it. Can it be done in driveway by avg mechanic?

Procedure for removing an entire engine is going to vary by specific vehicle and engine. More FWD than RWDs will come out by under the vehicle.

You asked if this was a driveway mechanic's area to do? No is my first answer,
