electric egr valve

pulled the egr valve off of my 4.3 vortec today to clean the carbon out of it when i pulled it off it was milky looking inside i,m guessing this could indicate a blown intake gasket .

yes externally runs off the front of engine .

Fix that problem before you worry about the EGR vale. It may or may not be related.

oh i,m not worried about the egr was thinking since it,s milky looking and i,m leaking coolant it,s the intake gasket .

If the other leak is caused by the intake gasket, then it's not going to matter so either fix that first or remove the intake gasket and look.

leaking intake gasket was my problem workedon it about 8 hours yesterday ran it through two heat cycles this morning problems solved .
