2003 Mercury Marquis, 4.6 v-8, 107 thousand miles. Vehicle all of a sudden developed a engine miss, no check engine light, the miss is at idle and all speeds, worse under acceleration and with A/C on. I'm not sure when the plugs were changed last.

You will have to wait for it to set a code to find out which cylinder it is. Plugs may help if they are over 80K but you likely have a weak coil and you'll need to know which one. Don't just change the plugs because that will only buy time and you will be going through this again soon. When you find out which cylinder, change that coil and all the plugs if they are due. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Thanks for your help, you led me in the right direction. codes P0305, and P0316, but as i found out , its common for the 03 and up to have a leaky intake gasket, and since # 5 is right next to the thermostate housing , the # 5 hole was full up with anti freeze, now its intake time. Thanks again for your help

Yep, all the way in the back left corner at the heater hose and the right front where the T-stat housing cracks. That part is aluminum on the new manifold. See it all the time.
