I have a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo. In the past several years, I've had an infrequent and intermittent problem when starting the car. I put the key in the ignition, I turn to start it and nothing happens -- not a sound or click or anything. However, the rest of the accessories come on -- AC, interior lights, radio, etc... Usually, I can wait a while and eventually the engine will start up immediately and I can go several months without the problem happening again. I would appreciate any suggestions --thanks!!

With a known good battery I would be cleaning up the terminals and connections at the starter with battery neg disconnected. If this battery is original it's getting old, T

Thanks Tom! The battery is less than a year old. I tightened up the terminal screws and saw no corrosion.
