Hi everyone I'm new here. I got a 89' chevy astro fuel injected V6 I keep it well maintained but I have a little problem. 2 or 3 times week while im sitting at light right after i came to a stop the car will start hesitate but it wont die it feels like its going to but it wont i put it in neutral and rev the engine and itll be fine after that. Once in a while ill be in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway and itll do it. I replaced the fuel filter, air filter, egr valve, pcv valve and checked for busted vaccum lines and nothing im starting to think its the IAC valve but im not sure plus the engine is rebuilt and thats the only problem I have and it does it once in awhile not all the time. thank you for any help i get in advance.

Try some fuel injector cleaner in the gas and just let it burn thru. It's old enough that it won't hurt it to try. You can check for vacuum leaks - even minor ones using carb spray cleaner at suspect spots and that shouldn't change the idle or there's something leaking there. Welcome to the site, T
