Re: intake gasket Sign In

I haven't had to do one yet but should come as a set and I'd use the pan as it may be part of the trouble??
I even owned the first one released in a 1969 Lincoln! Could pass anything but a gas station! Wink
What I found looked like this suggesting the pan was the gasket. Either way not that much money vs doing it all over again,

Felpro / Intake Manifold Gasket Part Number:
MS96018 Price: $39.99
Notes: Valley pan ~~~~~~~~~~~ BTW - I like "Felpro" as a parts maker for gaskets - you decide, T

Good move! I did do on site work (retired now) on RVs, Marine where nobody would go to location. What a pain either can be depending on how much room they allowed to get at stuff! The engine should be straight forward and good block as I've never had trouble with one.

Good for you - do it right and do it once,

T
