oil spraying Sign In

Yesterday on my way to work my car started to stink and smoke I popped the hood and noticed oil around my dipstick, after more inspection it looks like the oil is coming from the back of the motor. I have heat and it is not overheating. does anyone know what this could be or how to fix it... thanks

Re: oil spraying Sign In

That is something your going to have to get under to inspect to see where the leak is coming from while the engine is running. You may have to clean off the area the oil sprayed onto, so you can see where the leak is originating.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
