Still should do what you have to, to verify that then the problem is find out why if low. BTW - Heater probably doesn't blow warm/hot air either nor system hold pressure when checked. eyob07: Are you buying a lot of wholesale vehicles for resale? That meaning "Auction" cars? A lot of very needy vehicles show up at auction frequently from trade-ins where prior owner basically got almost nothing for them as dealer can check them out more before and know it's a lot of trouble, too many miles or too old for a new car dealer mostly. Some great vehicles can be had and some with endless problems. Here you can't drive those at auctions just run them and look around in place. Your end cost after these problems taken care of should be leaving you lots of mark-up to cover the lost cause ones you will end up with. These cars are intentionally programmed to run at higher temps at idle for emission reasons. Let it run ans see how high it will go. Stop it if it goes into the red zone but you may find the fans kick on before that and bring the temp down.
