2004 cadillac seville sls 4.9 po420 code bank 1 sitting in car bank 1 is on what side? i am going to replace the o2 sensor first on bank 1 but dont know what side bank 1 is

Don't waste your money. The O/2 isn't the problem. If you have no leaks in the exhaust system ahead of the converter, then you will have to replace the converter.
