random misfire s10

I have a 1997 s10, 4cyl. runs bad. Had it put on puter it said random misfire. to change both oxygen sensors, so i did. no change. it idles real high and it feels l;ike it is running on 2 cylinders. uses way too much gas. any ideas?

Check plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pressures, vacuum leaks, crank and cam sensors and the list can keep on going. Also there is no code that says replace the O2 sensors. There are codes that give you a diagnostic procedure to check to see what is wrong. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
