HI i have a rover 200 with 2.0lturbo tom cat engine which i fitted, I have spliced the looms together and running off of the 2.0l e.c.u. The engine has fuel, spark and compression is perfect, However the car starts but imedietly stalls, The car runs all the time if i spray either down the inlet which signals fuel problem, I have removed the injectors and whilst cranking they work fine, Re-fitted them and used the power probe, When the ignition is off all 5 wires to the injectors are earth and all switch live when ignition is on. Ive looked in trouble shooting in the technical data book and it read about bad earth under bonnet so e.c.u would only have a short voltage, So i cleaned the terminals and also used a jump lead from earth to e.c.u, As then i know that the e.c.u shud have the correct voltage, But it still wont stay running any ideas?

I'm not familiar with the vehicle because it's not a US vehicle but the symptoms have all the earmarks of a theft deterrent system that is activated. It's shutting the injectors down right away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
