1989 Chevy c1500 218xxx with a 5.7 TBI the day before it stopped running it ran like a champ then the next morning it would not start replaced the coil igniter wires plugs starter has new fuel pump distrtributor it is getting fuel and spark am out of ideas

? If it's getting spark suggests you could crank the engine so why toss the starter and all that stuff? Now I'd test for a reaction by priming into throttle body fuel seen or not along with just a couple compression tests to see if way off to see if it jumped valve timing not so common but would be way too low to fire.


Lots possible but few of the things you just tossed unfortunately.


Knowing you have spark and if no reaction to priming should isolate the issue to timing and compression to react at all. Find out which dropped out,

did you check spark at several plugs? not at the coil....

Do you see the injectors spray when you crank engine?
> As tom suggested- add some fuel - use a carb cleaner spray- see if it tries to start then
