It's a 2002 chevy cavalier 2.2 engine size, mileage can't remember. The problem is the engine chin broke, nothing else was damage in engine, so we replace the chain and now it car weren't start why not?

Lost my list but if this chain broke then valve to piston damage has occurred. If so compression would be about nothing now and you know the extent when head is removed how bad things are, T

If an interference engine when/if valve timing is off (broken chain or belt) then valves can't get away from the pistons so they bend or break or possible to put a hole in piston(s) with no real telling if the head could be sent out for repair or replaced till you look inside. Could be wrong and this could be a non interference engine and the job didn't work out. Said earlier that compression would be ridiculously low and hard to tell you to crank engine at all right now as that alone if just chain was off right marks on interference engines is too much, T >>>>>>>>> Here's a pic of what happens if it shows.......
