i have just had a new exhaust manifold and manifold gasket fitted. however there is still a leak next to the cylinder head. i suspect that a small part of the head has been eaten away and ideally needs skimmed but i'm a student and i cant afford the labor costs. is there any possibility of a cheap fix? like a thicker sealant or gasket??
any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You could always try using a double gasket. Make sure your manifold isn't cracked.
