'01 WRANGLER 93K MI. MECHANIC INSTALLED NEW OEM MASTER CYL. /SLAVE & LINE COMPONENT. RAN FINE ON 1ST TEST, WOULDN'T DISENGAGE ON 2ND TEST---WAS BLED AND RAN FINE ON 3RD TEST BUT DIDN'T DISINGAGE ON 4TH TEST. MECH. SAYS IT HAS TO BE CLUTCH?--- CAN ANY ONE OF THE CLUTCH PARTS IE CLUTCH, COVER, THROWOUT BEARING BE BAD AND PERFORM PERFECT ON THOSE 2 GOOD TEST DRIVES. --- OR AM I BEING HOSED BY THE MECH, ????? APPRECIATE ANY HELP ON THIS !!!!! THANKS

swintek; I would want to inspect the clutch disc. It's possible that a spring has dislodged and is flopping around. You may or may not be able to inspect without pulling the transmission. It's also possible that you have a faulty part, but I would think that you'd be continuing to get air with each 'bleed'? Was this the same symptom prior to replacing the master and slave? If so, I'd be looking at the clutch disc and pressure plate. Good luck. Loren SW Washington
