02 Infiniti I-35 P0303 Rough Idle
A year ago my car would always Idle rough when low on gas. The problem always went away by restarting the car. This time around nothing stops the poor idle, and I get a code for misfire in Cyl 3. Although the plugs and coils have not been changed, I believe this is actually the fuel injector due to the history of this same rough Idle. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have a couple of suggestions Stop running you car low on fuel or you will be buying a new fuel pump Don't ignore the ignition that should have been replaced before trying to look beyond for other problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You need to figure out what is causing cylinder number 3 to misfire. Is it no spark, no fuel, a mechanical problem, or a vacuum leak causing that cylinder to not contribute? You'll have to do some diagnosis instead of guessing if you don't want to waste time and money just throwing parts at it. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Im not guessing, Im diagnosing based on the problems it has, and had leading up to this. Ive deleted the code several times but the same code comes back up immediately. From what Ive experienced it usually a vaccum problem when its a random misfire, not specific. Therefor it has to be the plugs/coil, or fuel delivery. I may just change the plugs coils , and injectors
