2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT V6 80,000 Hey guys, hopefully you all can help me out. I have found you guys helpful on a number of occations a year or so ago. So this all started when I went to my car and found the battery dead. I had a friend of mine jump it with his car and my horn started honking and the red led on the front dash was blinking. I turned the alarm off my the key fob. I then noticed the interior fan wouldn't respond, it was stuck on 5. I could switch either window, top or bottom fans just fine. I let the car run a good 15 min to let the battery charge. The fans became responcive after 10 minutes or so so I was able to turn them off. I turned the car off, the alarm went off again with lights flashing and everything. I went to turn the car back on and the battery was dead. The led on the front of the dashboard blinked for a good 5 minutes with a clicking sound coming from behind the stearing wheel. I am currentally unable to remove my key from the ignition, and can not shift into reverse. This is a brand new battery, like duralast gold something. I think it may be the altranator or something? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
