I have a 07 ford fusion 2.3 and I have replaced the valve gaskets egr valve cam shaft sensor spark plugs.... the fuel pump works the car will now run when started without stalling idmedatly but if you get to driving down the road it eventually stalls out I'm stumped can you help me with something ... the car had a new engine put in awhile back but it also sat in a driveway for a long time and there is no check engine light on

? Already an engine - why? Also why to all this work and why to how long it sat around? Was battery dead when you got back then did all this? Sorry all questions need more info on why you messed with it at all,

not my car it's a family members car and I'm currently on house arrest I replaced the gaskets beacuse when I went to check the spark plugs there was alot of oil over the plugs I checked those beacuse the was a check engine light on and it was a cylinder 3 misfire the light did not go off after i replace plugs and gaskets but ran a little better and would not stall instantly so i checked the egr valve and it was only reading 13 ohms and should have been putting out 21 so I replaced that and still a stall when put in drive or reverse so I just randomly checked the cam shaft sensor and it was only putting out 12.3 ohms and was supposed to put out 13.5 so now it drives down the road for about a half mile and stalls

Aha! So your the lucky one to fix this. I asked why it ever needed a new engine which really about doesn't exist parts are moved to the next and if a rebuilt it's not "new" at all is never the caliber of true new again.
I question your readings for why at the moment. Forget that for now it was run with a dead cylinder probably WAY too long may have really loused that one up or even filled oil with fuel over too much time? Then it sat around not much good for anything.
Perhaps time to take a compression test and see what condition this thing is really. I just smell abuse or neglect likely brings out all possible problems all over again so would start with just how good it can pass a compression test to know what you really have to work with,
