Has anyone had problem with setting camshaft timing on a 1983 Mazda B200

No not really but it’s been a long time since doing one though. I believe they used different coloured links on the chain and dots on the gears to align timing at TDC #1 cylinder. If this is so on the model you’re working on don’t be alarmed that after two rotations of the crankshaft the coloured links don’t realign with the dots. The chain is so long that it’ll walk around and will take quite a few rotations of the crank until the dot and links come back into sink. Dan. Canadian "EH"
