My 88 cavalier starts fine when cold. Sometimes it idles rough and fluctuates but the main problem is that if you drive it a while and turn it off, you can start it up a minute or two later but if you leave it off for say 20 minutes, it won't start for a while. I have replaced the ignition control module and the crank sensor. Could it be the fuel pump relay or possibly the IAC valve. I'm at a loss!

The next time it won't start, you need to check fuel pressure with a guage, spark at plugs, and injector pulse with a noid light. Check to see which system(s) are not working and post back. We also need the fuel pressure readings in psi to rule out the fuel pump. Steve
