OK. We have established that there is an 89 Jeep that won't stat started and I think you are asking for help. Remember we are not there to look at it. Please give us some more information.

sorry new to this truck shut off on highway after 15 minutes of driving i let it sit for 5 minutes it started back up drove another 15 and shut off again fuel pump is coming on when i turn the key also i just had a catalytic converter instaalled but did not replace oxygen sensor

Sounds like a fuel problem? I would get your Fuel filter and pump checked. When it dies, does it jerk a little, like it is out of gas?

I would check the crank sensor or the ignitiopn system. Sounds like the problem is temperature related. Change the fuel filter as Doc suggested since you do not know history of vehicle. Also, what kind of Jeep is it and engine size.
