I have a 1990 Dodge truck- battery was replaced in April 2013. Didn't drive it over the winter and this spring the battery was dead. I jumped it and it started right up- I have driven it 8-10 times since then, about twice a week. Today the battery was dead again. I jumped it and it started right up- drove it around for about 15 minutes and went back home. I shut the engine off, waited for about 30 seconds, and tried to start it again but the battery was completely dead again. Is it the battery? Do I need a new one? Why would it just die like that after working fine this spring? Thanks for your help!

Sounds like the battery is just junk. They don't recover from stuff like that. have it tested. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
