1991 Dodge Daytona Firewall Sign In

Hi, I'v got a fairly large crack in the firewall of my 91 Dodge Daytona ES V6. I was wondering if this is a serious, and costly thing to repair (or does it need to be repaired?)? The crack is roughtly 24 inches long horizontal, about midway on the firewall. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Scott

Get it fixed regardless of the cost or park it. The body on these things as a whole is what makes up the structural strength of the car. Hopefully you are sincere with this question and take my advice; the car is not safe with that kind of damage.
Picture a pop can being flexed back and forth in the center; eventually it cracks and then breaks in two.
What flavor is your car?
Dan.
