1991 ford aeostar Sign In

need to remove igintion switch without key.Have drilled pin out but switch moves no more then 1/4 of inch.Any ideas.

Do you mean the lock cylinder or the ignition switch. Two different things, They lock cylinder should come out after a dig into steering column with no need to break or drill anything, T

cylinder lock,easy if have key then just turn to run posisition depress pin and pull.But without total differant story.Was hoping someone had been thru this.

If you have the lock pin drilled out, use a small slide hammer to remove the cylinder. If you dont have access to that, screw a long screw into the key slot and lock a pair of vice grips to the head of screw. Use a hammer to hit locking pliers to remove the cylinder. Hit real close to the screw head.
