1991 ford ranger brakes Sign In

the brakes on my ranger wont release. they are shut tight agaisnt the rotor and they wont spin
i was told to grease the calipers but where
please help

Does it look like that one from the inside view? If so that gets lubed at the long slots cut into it and the metal hardware that must slide there. Also the small area where pad's metal back plates slide on metal. Never lube where it touches for friction!

If both are frozen like this that's unusual at the same time. If one - try opening the bleeder just a tad and if it frees up the flex hose could be blocking fluid pressure return. Calipers can freeze right up from rust in the bore to piston area over times and exposure. This exact one is not so expensive. It may be different - there were possible others if 4WD which I didn't check,
