My 1993 Ford Tempo has a dimmer switch problem where as the High Beam light works but the dimmer switch lever will not stay on, I have to hold it on to obtain my high beam lights. We have replace the total parts including the actual dimmer, signal light lever. We are at a loss?

This isn’t for sure by any means but try pushing down (towards the dash) on the lever? I can’t remember whether a Tempo is like this or not but on a lot of the older vehicles when you pulled up on the handle you’re actually turning on the flash to pass switch. As in too flash your headlights (high beams) to an on coming vehicle. But when you pushed down on the lever it would click and stay down turning on your high beams, after you’ve turned on the headlight switch of course. Give it a try? Dan. Canadian "EH"
