Car was garaged last 2 yrs. Last year, battery charged and wouldnt start. This year took battery to auto store and they charged overnight. Put battery in car still wont start, nothing ,zip. Turn key on and have normal buzz sound but still nothing, power windows, flipup headlights flashers do nothing. Flashers have a clicking sound. This happened last year also, jumped car and would run but once I turn off everything dead again. The auto store says battery is fully charged. Any help out there? JohnL Buffalo, ny

Just because you charge a battery doesn't mean it is capable of holding it. You need to have the battery tested and likely replaced.

As HT said test that battery. If it just sat without a maintainer on it for two years it might charge to show acceptable voltage but no amp power. Car batteries can't just sit. New ones get tossed if unsold within a year, T

If the car requires a jump to start, then you still have a battery problem with the battery itself or the cable connections.
