I left work yesterday and went to Old Navy. Car ran fine. Leave Old Navy, pull out of the parking spot and as I start to drive, the car just dies. I put it in park, start it back up, and put it back in drive. Press the gas- it dies again. Repeat again. This next time, I keep it in park and floor on it just to see, and there was a loud squealing noise. I put it in drive again-I was finally able to get it into a parking spot and had to call a tow truck. They towed my car to my house and he was able to start it just fine, like I was, and backed it up into a parking spot. Any idea what the problem could be on this? My brother in law can't look at it to see if he can fix it until Sunday.

Hmmm? The squeal was probably the main belt and alternator was working real hard after a few tries to start the car. This is probably a fuel problem. If it just runs fine now it could be trouble to figure out with any sureness. If you catch it now not running quick check for spark and fuel and see which is missing, T
