Hi! I have a 1995 Subaru Impreza (manufactured in 9/94), 1.8, four-door sedan, with 200K miles. The check engine is on and there is a noticeable loss of power when going uphill. Also, when going on a flat road, if I press the gas pedal all the way, the car will not respond immediately. The engine seems to be in very good condition. What we have done so far is to change the wires, the spark plugs, the air filter, and the coil, and examine the catalytic converter (it's good). Before replacing the plugs and wires, I had to press the gas slightly when starting the car, but now it seems to start fine. After we replaced the parts, we disconnected the battery for a minute in order to get rid of the check engine light but that didn't happen. Could this be the fuel injectors? What do you think is the issue ? Thanks.
