1996 Ford Taurus problem Sign In

1996 Ford taurus with a 3.0 had to replace the input shaft seal now it sounds like it is out of time.Dont know if its the crank shaft sensor not placed right or what please help.

Guest; The input shaft seal usually refers to axle or transmission. Are you referring to front or rear main seals? Is this the SOHC or DOHC engine? The SOHC uses a CKP with a synchronizer, the DOHC uses a fixed CKP sensor.
