Have it scanned for codes and post the code numbers here.

Any history, any work recently done? Any overheating?

What led up to this?

I'd say your going to need to get hold of an enhanced scan tool to look at misfire counters to see which cylinders are skipping.

And why would you do that. I don't recall seeing anything that indicated those.

You have a misfire on cylinder #5 for sure and maybe others. The scan tool you borrowed is not what we were referring to. You need a professional level tool that shows actual misfire counts on specific cylinders. For now you need to find out what is wrong with #5, whether it be spark, fuel or compression.

The #5 spark plug wire had a hole arcing at the exhaust shroud noticed when replacing them ordered the three sensors from RA for 30 bucks could not hurt I thought. Wink However I borrowed the tool from a buddy at work.I also already pulled the PS pump for the cam, and the harmonic balancer crank pulley to access the cam sensor will replace and see what happens crank2 right at backside of the block easy access!!

Of course it can if they are not installed correctly which is very possible.

well i installed the sensors and now it runs for a few seconds then cuts off. so i borrowed an advanced tool from az. now there are no codes probably due to the fact the battery went dead had to hook up the charger. started it a few times still runs rough, now the scanner says misfire monitor-ok, fuel system mon-ok,comp component-ok, catalyst-inc, evap system mon-inc, oxygen sens mon-inc, oxygen sens htr-inc, and a handfull of n/a's

That is not an advanced scan tool. AZ has nothing even close to what was recommended here. You're comparing $500 tools to a $5,000 tool. You can't get the data you needs with that tool.

I think it is time you had a licensed reputable repair shop look at this. You just throwing a bunch of parts at it and in the process making more problems.
