1997 saab 900s dont start

My 1997 saab 900s 2.3ltr won't start. Approximately 3weeks ago I was driving to work and it shut off while driving. I put it in neutral and it started back up and the service engine light and check gearbox light came on. It did this a few times and now it won't start. Changed spark plugs and have very little spark. Any help

Spark has to be able to jump a 3/4 inch air gap with a spark tester. If it can't do that, you have a shorted coil or the coil's turn off time is too long.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
