Please help, was I ripped off, or is this a good price? The mechanic did the following, replaced water pump, radiator, timing chain, belts, reflushed system, changed oil...$1,215.00

1999 Dodge Caravan, 76,000 miles.

I thought it was a good price, but someone at work said I was ripped off, what do you think?

Thanks

I dont think you got ripped. Water pump and radiator are not that cheap, then add in Labour, belts and flush and i think thats about what you come up with.

The price of automobile repairs is relative. If this place charged that amount and it lasts for a long time, that is a relatively cheap repair. If it was done and had to keep adding more repairs, it is a bad deal. The main thing is the consumer. If the consumer is happy with the price, repairs and the professionalism shown, that is always a good price.
