My car is registering hot in town but doesn't while driving on highway. The A/C is still working but periodically goes warm for just a minute and then cools back off. Also - sometimes when at a stop light with foot on brake - the car seems to lunge forward just a little bit.

Check your cooling fan and make sure it is work and pulling a good amount of air. It is normal for the temp to rise in slow traffic when the A/C is off because the fans aren't programmed to come until the temp gets higher but with the A/C on, the fans should run all the time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
