I was told that my water pump and fan belt need to be replaced. Is this an expensive procedure? How much should I expect to pay? Thank you!

The labor to replace the water pump is about 3 hours. So figure up labor in your area and add it up. Parts are suspect to area pricing also. So do a littlwe research and you can get a general idea of the cost. Water pump from dealer will be approximately 100$ more or less. Belt from dealer will be approximately 40$ more or less. SO if your area labor is 75$ per flat rate hour and you have 3 hours labor, that is 225$ labor plus parts and coolant. This is just rough estimates. So happy shopping. If you wantg to do it yourself, figure on a weekend and use all of it. We can offer information and assistance if needed. Good luck. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
