2000 Buick Century with 83K miles recently had inspection and various minor repairs done. The last three days when I started the car in the morning, after about 30 seconds, it made a rumbling sound, shook, and then stalled. It does not matter whether it's idleing, in reverse, drive, etc. The car restarts and acts completely normal and I stop and start it various times during the morning with no sign of problem. It only seems to happen when it's been sitting for a long time. What do you think is causing the problem?

moni; Do you have a check engine light or service engine soon light illuminated? If so, have the PCM scanned for codes and post them here. If not, best thing to do would leave it with your tech overnight to see if they can duplicate the problem. Could be an injector or fuel pump leaking down. Lean or rich condition could cause the symptom you are describing. Loren SW Washington
