Yr of Vehicle: 2000 Mk of vehicle: Mazda Model: MPV Engine: 2.4L Mileage: 157K plus My Mazda is stalling when I accelerate from a dead stop or just cruising and increasing speed. Runs rough also when I have the AC running, but I don't hear any noise coming from the compressor.

There is a lot of things that could cause that. Is the check engine light on, if so get the codes pulled to help narrow things down. If you have any overdue maintance stuff...Now would be a good time to get that done.....What you really need to do is to find out if it's losing spark or fuel when it dies. If it starts right back up it makes it even tougher but it's still needs to be done As far as the vibrating with the a/c on. if the engine is running good & just shakes when you turn on the a/c, you could be looking at some bad motor mounts. The mileage is definately right for this problem. You can support the engine with a floor jack while it's running & turn on the a/c if the vibration is gone or greatly reduced then you have bad mounts........ (support engine = 1 or 2 pumps of the jack handle to slightly raise the motor......Not pick the frt wheels off the ground by the engine pan )
