Alright, So, I've noticed when my car is warmed up it occasionally makes a weird humming noise, and my RPM's go up to about 2000. It'll do this for about 3-5 seconds, then stop. And it will continue doing that off and on until my car is completely cooled down. Any tips on what it might be?!

A good possibility is the Idle Air Control valve. Ford is well known for these failing. There is also a hose that hooks to it, this is what is causing the humming noise. It is commonly known as a "hooter tube". The hose is really cheap and the IAC can be had for somewhere between 40 and 80 dollars. Good luck. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
