Ok Have a 2001 Chevy impala 3.4 Liter V6-------was using the windshield wipers as usual and then went to turn them off when i parked the car and when i turned the multifunctional switch to the off position, them cycled like they should to the down position and then the go back up and stop at the very top of the travel. So now i have two wipers just sticking straight up in the air. Any possible solutions? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The park circuit is messed up. Check the back of the wiper motor for a black plastic cover held on by a couple of screws. Remove cover, you should have a circuit board on the backside. This is the wiper delay module. Make sure the contacts are not bent or folded over. If they look ok, replace this module and the wipers should be ok. Steve
