Chevy
2002
Cavelier ls sport
101,xxx
5 speed 2.2 dohc

My car was running rough for a couple of weeks so I took it to a shop and had it ran on the computer and he said I needed to replace the fuel pressure regulator and it didn't do much but help the bogging it did and one day I had put it in 2nd gear and I tried to step on it a lil bit and it hesitated so I pulled over and checked my oil and it was a milky brown so I added a lil more oil (burns oil fast) and it ran fine but I went out to my car and I started it and I hit the gas a lil but and it died so in order for me to keep it running was for me to keep on the gas a little bit but after 3-4 mins it would be fine so I did that for a week or so and I went out to go start my car and it wouldn't start so we did a compression test on it and the compression was really low and it read 0 on 2 of the cylinders please help its depressing me

Gee, I wonder why I'm having a problem.

Time to look for a new motor or new car.

Well it still cranks and it sounds like it wants to start and I have a friend who is a diesel mechanic and he said it could possibly be a blown head gasket he said that will cause me to loose compression ...enough to where the car won't start

You talk like that is a minor thing. That's major engine surgery and now that you have been driving it with coolant in the oil, you have likely ruined the rest of the engine.
